CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability 14 units must be selected for this qualification including: · 9 Core units · 5 Elective units Pathways to further studies Certificate IV in Disability Course Aim Working in the Disability sector can be very challenging but at the same time rewarding. Graduates of this Certificate will find work in residential facilities or in private personal care. Course Duration and Delivery Mode The course encompasses practical/class room study and vocational placement. 3 days per week delivered over 10-12 weeks from: 9:00am – 3:30pm and 3 evening fortnightly workshops from 5 – 8pm Vocational Placement To be assessed as competent in this qualification, you are required to undertake 80hrs of vocational placement in a disability or aged care organisation. This vocational placement will be organised by the student in consultation with Quest College. Vocational placement provides students with industry experience but is not renumerated. You require a Blue Card before commencing Vocational placement. Entry Requirements Nil Course Costs and Dates Total fee: $1600.00 $150 enrolment fee is required at enrolment, this is nonrefundable. The enrolment fee is deducted off the cost of the course. The balance of the course cost can be paid for upfront prior to the course commencing or on a payment plan. Payment plans have a 4% administration charge. The Qualification will be issued on final payment and successful completion of competency. |
