The QUEST College Individual Support (Disability) Course provides an industry recognised learning environment that prepares students with industry expertise, knowledge and skills valued by employers. This course can help students gain the skills required to provide care and support to disabled people in residential establishments, community settings, clinics and hospitals. Students also learn to provide companionship, emotional support and when possible promote independence and community participation in clients. This course is designed for individuals who like to work in community and, or residential settings and want to provide person-centered support to people with disabilities. This course can help you qualify for a position as a Nursing Assistant, Personal Carer, Disability Support Worker and a range of other jobs essential to this growing industry.

This is a Certificate 3 Guarantee programme and is funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET).
To be eligible for this course you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, currently residing in Queensland, 15 years of age or older, no longer in school (with the exception of VET in school students) and have not completed/not currently enrolled in a post school Certificate III level qualification (prospective students are only eligible for one subsidised training place for a Certificate III level qualification).
