Course Aim

The QUEST College Certificate III in Horticulture Course is recognised within the industry for providing a hands-on, practical learning environment that prepares students with industry expertise, knowledge and skills valued by employers. This course is for individuals who like to get their hands dirty working outdoors and are interested in working in nurseries, local gardens and with councils beautifying local communities.  

This course can prepare you for a position as a Horticulturalist, Specialised Nursery Hand, Propagator, Landscaper, Gardener and a range of other jobs essential to plant and landscape maintenance. This course can also prepare you to manage your own garden maintenance business!  

With the qualifications and ZEST, you gain through QUEST; you will have the edge to get the job you want. You will be trained to work effectively in a variety of roles within the Horticulture Industry. Eligibility Criteria

This is a Certificate 3 Guarantee programme and is funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET). 

To be eligible for this course you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident, currently residing in Queensland, 15 years of age or older, no longer in school (with the exception of VET in school students) and have not completed/not currently enrolled in a post school Certificate III level qualification (prospective students are only eligible for one subsidised training place for a Certificate III level qualification).
